The Audubon BioBlitz was a huge success for its first year at Ford! From October 1 through December 1, our members were hard at work taking photos to document all of the flora and fauna species here on property.

The mating pair of eagles, with their nest over the Ogeechee River across from The Main House, are the proud parents of two eaglets! The young birds grow rapidly, adding one pound to their body weight every four or five days. An eaglet can take its first flight about 10 to 13 weeks after hatching.…
