If you prefer to lounge poolside in relative peace and quiet, there is a second pool behind The Main House. Constructed in the 1980s by a previous owner of the property, the 85×25-foot pool ranges from four to eight feet deep and affords a breathtaking view of the Ogeechee River. The bottom of The Main House pool is black, making the surface of the water highly-reflective. The result is a stunning mirror image of the back of The Main House. In addition, the black bottom absorbs sunlight creating a natural heating effect for the pool.
