Main House

The historic Main House was automobile magnate Henry Ford's winter estate. This wonderful home, a true architectural treasure listed on the National Register of Historic Places, sits atop a bluff overlooking the Ogeechee River and serves as the heart and soul of The Ford Plantation.

The second floor of The Main House offers five elegant guest suites, while the first floor features a formal living room, library, and breakfast room. The house is the setting for special events throughout the year as well as frequent wine dinners, where vintners from around the country come to the Plantation to pair their favorite wines with the Club Executive Chef’s latest creations. Members may also host special celebrations, such as weddings and family reunions, at The Main House.
